!CHURCH STREET...from st michaels steps...

?CYCLED...the degibna route around the bar...its drying out nicely...met retired local solicitor at the bar...a day in the life of two brians brains...good day for it...macewan castles built by finn & me crumbling...

!MATHS...not-a-lot...but getting the hang of wronskians...

?TOWN BUS...clumped a car...punctured a tyre...dented the car wing...details exchanged...i wonder whether this will mean traffic warden presence/police patrols to catch early parkers...

!BLUE SKIES AT DAWN...over st michaels church...

?BREAKFAST AT MY CASTLE...opposite at the top of church street...bottom of church hill...family reunion...

!BEST DAY...weatherwise for over a week...blue skies on the ride...

?DR WHO...think some of the dating of events in 1953 were out...presley/hound dog c1955...scooters also more towards end of 50-s...muffin the mule was cool...

!PENROSE IN FULL BLOOM...these rhododenrons are very impressive...

?CALCULUS OF VARIATION...two thirds of the last question on tma04 done...its a biggy 45/88 marks..the last part for 15 marks is challenging...still two questions to do...but will have to finish the module first...

!CHINESE FOR SIX...at the eat-as-much-as-you-like buffet at perranuthnoe...good variety of dishes...good value for money...

?GOOD RIDE...around the bar...to prepare the way for the large intake of food...drying out a bit now along the paths...

!FOLLOW THY MOTHER...into the undergrowth...while the father stands guard hissing at me...they are doing well still with eight...and growing bigger and stronger every day...no seagulls around here...probably foxes...whether they would dare...

?EXCELLENCE...in maths at 06.00 hours...the aha eureka moment...tma03 now done and dusted...should be up in the 80-s into the 90-s...started on tma04...one complete...one half way...but need to finish the last chapter before tackling the others...

!HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY MILES...not that you are around to receive such greetings anymore...still the bbc radio 3 have done your music proud...

!ON GUARD...daddyswan positions himself between finn & me and his family...while mummyswan shares the bread out that we have thrown them...couldnt see them today...they must have been on the island...

?BOATING LAKE...featured two cormorants and a grey heron on the little island where the swans nested...one of the cormorants was showing of her wings...magnificent...batman comes to mind...

!MISTY...around the bar and the coatal path above porthleven...muddy too...

?MATHS...srill questioning tma03 q5...reckon i have covered about 20/30 marks so far...couple of tricky bits to resolve...

!CARPE DIEM...nearly forgot to mention the irritating phonecall from tv licensing...they assume that you have a tv unless you can prove that you dont have one...by coming to inspect your property...bloody cheek...bX

!THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN...plus one...and a watchful mother...and father giving finn and i the beady eye below the bridge...they were tucked away out of sight in the small pond by the childrens playground at the start of penrose walk...

?THE BOATING LAKE...grandparents of the eight...and with a brood of five of their own...were camped out on the island over the bridge from the cafe...

!STILL...a lot of showers about...but fortunately nothing heavy...plenty of mist...no sign of the sun...

?MATHS...good progress with the biggy on tma03...worth 30/80 marks...i can work out most of the questions...whether i can do it in a three hour exam is another matter...
